LINDA GOLD is a critically acclaimed dancer and choreographer who has toured extensively throughout the United State, Canada, Europe and Asia. She has performed with the Joffrey Ballet Company, the Wolf Trap Company, Cincinnati Ballet Company, Dance/LA and Contemporary Dance Theater. She has performed the Historic Dance of Ruth St. Denis in California and appeared internationally in solo concerts accompanied by carillon. She received grants from the State of California, the Rockefeller Foundation, amongst others. She has been a guest lecturer at numerous universities and dance institutes in the U.S. and abroad. Director of the Santa Monica College Dance Program, Professor Gold holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati, a Masters of Arts degree from UCLA, and is continuing work on her doctorate at Teatterikorkeakoulu, the Theater Academy of the University of Helsinki, Finland.
