Mary Anthony, founder and Director of the Mary Anthony Dance Theatre, began on scholarship with Hanya Holm in the early 40’s, concertized and appeared on Broadway in the early 50’s when she founded her own studio and company. She is recognized as one of the leaders of the Modern Dance Movement as a dancer, choreographer and exceptional teacher. |
