Diana Byer is a founder and director of New York Theatre Ballet and Ballet School NY. She received her principal training fro Margaret Craske and Antony Tudor. She has been a guest instructor throughout the U.S. and Europe and has received the National Arts Club Award for the achievements of New York Theatre Ballet and its school. Byer has received extensive media coverage for her on-going work with homeless children. This program, Project LIFTS, was recently honored by Hillary Clinton and featured in the Coming Up Taller publication of the President’s National Commission for The Arts and Humanities.
