PAT CATTERSON is a multi-faceted dance artist, trained in modern dance, tap, ballet and ballroom dancing (her parents were professional ballroom dancers), who has taught, choreographed and performed all over the USA and in Europe.  A Fulbright Scholar in 1995, she has choreographed about eighty dances and has received her share of grants from the NEA, the CAPS Program, the Harkness Foundation, the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation and other agencies.  Her work has been commissioned by schools and companies, most recently, the Dance Theatre of Oregon, Ohio University, and the Eglevsky Ballet Company and, in 1996, she was Dance Consultant for the feature film “I Shot Andy Warhol.”  Formerly on the faculties at Sarah Lawrence College, UCLA and the Merce Cunningham Studio, she currently teaches composition at the Juilliard School and at LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts.  Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, she graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy.  Ms. Catterson first saw Tina Croll’s work in 1968, first danced with James Cunningham in 1969, and is tickled pink to be invited to participate in their latest extravaganza.
