LINDA TARNAY has directed her own company and received choreography grants from NEA, NYSCA, and Creative Artists Public Service Awards (CAPS). A founding member of DTW, she has performed in the work of Anna Sokolow, Jack Moore, Lotte Goslar, Phyllis Lamhut, and James Cunningham – among other. She directs the International Choreographers Residency Program at the American Dance Festival. Currently she is Asst. Chair of the dance program at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she holds the title of Master Teacher.
